The Canada Mounted Games Association is hosting the Colonial Games.

The competition is open to the original Colonial countries Canada, USA, New Zealand, Australia, Botswana and South Africa.

The format will be played exactly like worlds and European Championships with the exception of the age categories at Europeans.

The date itself (21/22/23 August 2009) presents a conflict with the upcoming world championships being held in GB on the same weekend but this competition is not aimed directly at those teams attending worlds either.

This comp is being planned to be one of our largest endeavors to date with commitments from a multitude of US and Canadian teams as well as New Zealand and Botswana.

The competition is also being held in conjunction with the Canadian Pony Club national Games championships.  Guests will be billoted and expenses will be a bare minimum.

If any AMGA members are interested please apply through the attached EOI
