This is a great opportunity for a team practice weekend with the National Comp on in Wentworth 4 weeks later.

Happy New Year to everyone. This week we will be adding the Vines flyer for our February competition which is on the 13th/14thFebruary at Vines Pony Club.

The NSW AGM notice, which will be held on the 27th of February at the Richmond Club East Market Street Richmond at 1.30pm.

Please remember that you need to nominate for office bearer positions, these need to be with the NSW secretary 7 days prior to the AGM.

A successful weekend competition was held at Gunning on 5 & 6 December with fine weather, fantastic grounds, and of course great people.

Thank you so much to all those who helped run the weekend, we couldn’t have done it without you, this is why our competitions run so smoothly.

Also thanks to the Upper Lachlan Shire Council for providing a great venue, they are always so helpful.

All this is what makes these weekends so great and the AMGA such a great environment for the kids, family and friends to get togther and enjoy a wonderful weekend.

Individuals on the Saturday, with shared nibbles followed by Xmas Party around a communal BBQ, yes desert will be supplied by our ever reliable, ever trusting Christine.

Un-fortunately the cool change is not coming to SA soon enough now and both Saturday and Sunday are going to be over 40 so we are going to cancel the comp on the 14th-15th. Hope to do something before Xmas so keep in touch

"MGA meets Speed Dating"

The format for the December Comp will be a Pairs Competition with a twist. There will be 3 sessions on Saturday & 3 sessions on Sunday, riders can enter for one or both days.

Each rider will enter as an Individual, at the beginning of each session names within each age group will be drawn out of a hat to form Pairs.

Each Pair will ride together for only one session.

Points accrued by each Pair will be split equally & each rider will accumulate points & carryover to the next session.

The rider in each age group with the most points over the two days will be declared the winner, in the event of equal points between riders a run off will be held, in a pre-determined race. Some age groups may need to be combined if there are insufficient numbers.

This is a terrific opportunity to ride with riders you haven't ridden with before.

Ho Ho Merry Christmas ! We having a combined BBQ- byo food and drink. The Fitzsimmons have offered their BBQ and desert will be supplied. If everyone can bring some nibbles to share and if you feel inclined bring some Christmas decorations. There will be entertainment so bring your dancing shoes and warm up those vocal cords.The flyer for Gunning will be attached this week. The competition will be individuals and pairs. Could you please email or call me to let us know numbers so we can cater for desert etc.

Hi eyeryone. I will be adding the results from Nationals this weekend and also the flyers for the last two NSW competitions. Congratulations to our National winners

We have been invited to hold a MGA Competition/Exhibition at the Cobram Show on Saturday the 24th October from 4pm until 7pm.

Horse accommodation will be provided by the Cobram Pony Club.

At this stage we are planning to run two set of heats of probably 8 races per heat.

The Competition will be run in a Pairs format and at this stage we will probably run a demonstration to explain the various skills involved in between the heats, which will give the horses a rest.

We are keen to get a range of ages of riders so all are welcome to apply to either myself  on 0407 112 185 or Ryan Davis on 0438 564 770.

This exhibition will be limited in numbers, so if necessary we will use past MGA results to select riders.

So if you are interested let us know.

 Please note Competition scheduled for 31st October has been cancelled.

Tickets purchases must be finalised by 31st October (Dingley Competition), prefer to be purchased in cash otherwise cheque made out to myself.
Alcohol will be available at Bar Prices (No BYO).

This will be an awards night for the whole family, with a smart/ formal dress code.

The 5th Individual National Championships to be held at Yass 17th & 18th October,is now open.

Applications are on the web site.

Book early for dinner to avoid diappointment.

Pre-entry & payment is required before Entries close Friday 2nd October 2009.

Late entries and payment on the day will not be accepted.

Please read the flyer for all the information you will need to know. Dont forget something special for Dad on Sunday morning.
