There will be a dinner held on the Saturday night of National Individuals. If you would like to join us for dinner please let us know by Monday 18th August, payment on the day is fine but we need to know numbers beforehand for catering.

Just a reminder that entries for National Individuals close this Friday the 8th August, Pre-entry is required and late entries will not be accepted!

This coming weekend the 26th and 27th July AMGA will holding a training/competition weekend in Stroud (North Coast NSW). Please contact Phil Logue for all the details. Should be a great weekend so come along if you are free.

Muswellbrook photos and visiting USA team photos now online

A lovely winters weekend greeted everyone at Muswellbrook. The visiting USA team once again rode their loaned ponies to sucess with every USA member making the Open Pairs finals on Sunday. See results page for full run down and photos will be added shortly.

As everyone would be aware,AMGA are hosting the World Championships in Sydney in October. In order to run the event successfully we will need approximately 120 horses. Emails have been sent out to members requesting that they think about lending their horses for the Championships with the necessary forms. The forms can now also be accessed by following this link .

A great weekend was had by all at Cudal. The weather was perfect with cold starts turning into beautiful days. With about 60 competitors we had two days of action packed competiton including some exciting spills. Our visiting USA team had a good weekend and rode their loaned horses extremely well. Check out the results page to see where everyone finished up.

THS are no longer required in NSW and interstate travel permits are also no longer requierd between states as of the 1st July 2008.

However in NSW we are still required to record detail of all horses and owners for attendance purposes.

The Event attendance form must be completed and submitted for each event, you should fill one out and make copies and change the event number for each for each horse.

Travelling Horse Statements (THS) will not be required after the 1st July. They will still be requiresd for this weekend's competition at Cudal but will not be required for Muswellbrook, Gunning or Individuals

Just to let everyone know AMGA won't be running a canteen at Cudal.

There is a big couple of weeks planned in NSW, with Cudal next weekend - 28th & 29th June (Individuals & teams), Muswellbrook 5th & 6th July (individuals & Pairs) and Gunning 12th & 13th July, plenty of opportunities to get back in the swing of things if you haven't been able to make one lately.

We'll also have a visiting US team with us at Cudal and Muswellbrook so it's a great opportunity to come and meet our international games players and give them a run for their money!

Many thanks to those who are lending ponies for them to compete on and to Phil and the Farmers who will be hosting the team during their stay!

After changes to the constitution at the last annual AGM, it was amended that state branches would be formed and AMGA would run as an umbrella organisation for the bracnhes.

A NSW Steering committee has been put in place from all those who indicated they would like to have some part over the last few months and will be in place until a formal NSW AGM takes place in December/January.
